What is vedic astrology?
Vedic astrology, or Jyotish, is an ancient Vedic science derived from the Rg Veda, one of the oldest scriptures on Earth.
Jyotish translates to "Light," and this practice is considered to be the "Science of Light."
Everything we see on Earth is primarily made from the Light of God, or Source Energy. Jyotish equips us with a methodology to accurately assess this light as it passes through the prism of the 7 original planets and manifests into physical matter.

My love for Vedic astrology was sparked after I discovered the 27 Nakshatras, or Lunar Mansions, and all of the magic that comes with them. I have completed 2 formal certification courses for Jyotish, including Dr. David Frawley's Ayurvedic Astrology Course, as well as a certification from the American Academy of Vedic Art and Science taught by Sam "Sadasiva" Geppi. I have been reading charts and the stars professionally since 2021 and continue to grow as an astrologer every day. The 7 Original Planets (and the 2 shadowy nodes of the Moon) continue to be my greatest teachers in this life, and I owe them immensely for the gift of astrological sight.
What is a Birth Chart?
A birth chart, or a kundli, is essentially a snapshot of the sky the moment you took your first breath on Earth; It is a map of where the planets & nodes were positioned upon your incarnation into a physical body.
The placement of the planets is assessed, along with their relationships to each other, in order to determine many things about you as a soul and what will be experienced by you in this lifetime. Through assessing their relationships and placements, we can determine a person's general nature (through the ascendant), their purpose or Dharma in this lifetime (through the Sun placement), and their emotional inner landscape (seen through the moon's placement). The rest of the planets also tell us various aspects of a person.
What to expect:
There are many different ways to read a birth chart. My readings focus heavily on the spiritual growth that comes through gaining knowledge of oneself through understanding how the planets operate through an individual. It is refreshing and uplifting to shift our perspective from seeing ourselves as lonely, flawed individuals to realizing that we are the ultimate manifestations of God/Source, acting out our roles here as stewards of the Earth and each other. We are more than just our bodies and our mind, and our stories begin long before we incarnate here on Earth. My chart readings aim to help you understand yourself as a being of Light who is here for a deeply spiritual purpose. I encourage you to come with any questions, however I do not focus on predictions in my readings outside of looking at the dasha periods.

Vedic astrology utilizes the Sidereal placements of the stars, meaning it focuses on the actual constellations of the sky, which may differ from conventional tropical astrology that many in the West are familiar with. You may come to understand yourself more than you ever thought was possible through learning your actual & true planetary placements.
